DZM1 series molded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is one of the new types of circuit breakers developed and designed by the Company using advanced international design and manufacturing technology.
Scope of application
DZM1 series molded case circuit breaker (hereinafter referred to as circuit breaker) is one of the new types of circuit breakers developed and designed by the Company using advanced international design and manufacturing technology. The rated insulation voltage is 800 V (500 V for DZM1-63). The circuit breaker is suitable for AC 50 Hz circuits with a rated operating voltage of 690 V and below (400 V for DZM1-63) and a rated operating current up to 1250 A, and can also be used for infrequent switching of the circuit and infrequent starting of the motor. It has overload, short circuit, and undervoltage protection functions, which can protect the circuit and power supply equipment from damage.
The circuit breaker is categorized into three types based on their rated limit short-circuit breaking capacity (Icu): L-type (standard type), M-type (moderately high breaking type), and H-type (high breaking type). The circuit breaker has characteristics such as a small size, high breaking capacity, short arc (zero arc for some specifications), and resistance to vibration, making it an
ideal product for use on land and ships. It can provide protection service between upper and lower levels, featuring three-stage protection functions.
The circuit breaker can be installed vertically (upright) or horizontally (flat).
The circuit breaker cannot be back-fed, meaning only terminals 1, 3, and 5 should be connected to the power supply, and terminals 2, 4, and 6 should be connected to the load.
The circuit breaker has an isolation function, and its corresponding symbol is: .——/*
The circuit breaker product complies with the following standards:
IEC60947-1 and GB/14048.1 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - General Rules
IEC60942-2 and GB/14048.2 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear - Circuit-breakers
IEC60947-4 and GB/14048.4 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear, Control Circuit Devices and Switch Components Part 1:
Contactors and Motor-starters
IEC609457-5.1 and GB14048.5 Low-voltage Switchgear and Controlgear, Control Circuit Devices and Switch Components Part 1:
Electromechanical Control Circuit Devices
Model Number and Meaning
Note:
1) Circuit breakers for distribution have no code; circuit breakers for motor protection are indicated by the number 2.
2) Direct operation without code: "P" represents electric operation; "Z" represents rotating handle operation.

The products are classified by the number of poles into two poles (DZM1-125, 160, 250), three poles, and four poles. The types of
the neutral pole (N pole) in four-pole products are divided into four categories:
● Type A: The N pole is not equipped with an overcurrent release and is always connected, not making and breaking in
conjunction with the other three poles;
● Type B: The N pole is not equipped with an overcurrent release, and the N pole makes and breaks in conjunction with the other
three poles (N pole closes first and breaks last).
● Type C: The N pole is equipped with an overcurrent release, and the neutral pole (N) makes and breaks in conjunction with the
other three poles (N pole closes first and breaks last).
● Type D: The N pole is equipped with an overcurrent release and is always connected, not making and breaking in conjunction
with the other three poles.
● Divided by rated current (A):
DZM1-63 is available in nine levels: (6), 10, 16, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, and 63 A (6 A specification without overload protection);
DZM1-125 is available in seven levels: 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, and 125 A;
DZM1-160 is available in four levels: 100, 125, 140, and 160 A;
