Scope of application
DZM1E series intelligent molded case circuit breaker is one of the new circuit breakers developed and manufactured by the Factory using advanced international design and manufacturing technology. The rated insulation voltage is 1000 V. The circuit breaker is suitable for AC 50 Hz circuits with a rated operating voltage of 400 V and a rated operating current up to 1250 A, and
can also be used for infrequent switching of the circuit and infrequent starting of the motor. The circuit breaker has the functions of overload long-time delay inverse time, short-circuit short-time delay inverse time, short-circuit short-time delay definite time, instantaneous tripping, and undervoltage protection, which can protect the circuits and electrical equipment from damage.
The circuit breaker can be installed vertically (upright) or horizontally (flat).
The circuit breaker cannot be back-fed, meaning only terminals 1, 3, and 5 can be connected to the power supply, and terminals 2, 4, and 6 should be connected to the load.
The circuit breaker complies with the following standards:
IEC60947-1 and GB/T14018.1 General Rules;
IEC60947-2 and GB14048.2 Low Voltage Circuit Breaker Appendix F Additional Requirements for the Circuit Breaker with an
Electronic Overcurrent Protection;
IEC60947-4 and GB14048.4 Contactors and Motor-starters;
IEC60947-5.1 and GB14048.5 Electromechanical Control Circuit Devices.
Main performance characteristics
DZM1E series intelligent molded case circuit breaker has a three-stage protection function and are suitable for category B circuit breaker. Under short-circuit conditions, it offer fully selective coordination with other short-circuit protection devices connected in the same circuit;
It has five tripping characteristic options: users can adjust the release settings according to the load current requirements;
The electronic release is powered by the circuit breaker itself, with the current signal and control power supplied by a toroidal current transformer installed within the circuit breaker;
Warning indication: When the load current exceeds the preset current, the LED on the circuit breaker cover lights up yellow;
Overload indication: When the load current exceeds the set current, the LED on the circuit breaker cover lights up red;
Fire protection-specific overload non-tripping alarm function: When the load current runs in an overload condition, the circuit breaker does not trip but outputs a passive contact signal to activate the corresponding alarm device;
Communication capabilities: The controller can achieve four remote functions - telemetry, remote control, remote adjustment, and remote signaling - through the communication interface. It can implement the remote control function and refer to the relevant MODBUS-RTU protocol documents for communication parameters.

The wiring methods of products are divided into three types: front wiring, back wiring, and plug-in wiring.
According to accessories, the products can be divided into two types: those with accessories and those without accessories;
Accessories are divided into internal and external accessories: Internal accessories include shunt release, undervoltage release, overload alarm, auxiliary contacts and alarm contacts;
The external accessories include rotating handle operating mechanism and electric operating mechanism.

● The overload long-time delay operating current IR adjustment can be made at 4 to 10 different settings, depending on the
different rated currents of the circuit breaker;
● The long-time delay operating time tR adjustment can be made at 4 different settings;
● The short-circuit short-time delay operating current Isd adjustment can be made at 10 different settings;
● The short-time delay operating time tsd adjustment can be made at 4 different settings;
● The short-circuit instantaneous operating current li adjustment can be made at 9 or 10 different settings;
● The pre-alarm operating current IRo adjustment can be made at 7 different settings.
● Test terminal, used to detect the current set value of the electronic release;

Note:
● The first digit 3 of the release mode and internal accessory code indicates an electronic release with three-stage protection, and the last two digits indicate the internal accessory code. If there are no accessories, use 300 to indicate.
● The 328 specification in DZM1E-400, the 348 specification in DZM1E-630, 800, and the 368 specification in DZM1E-400, 630, and 800 have three pairs of auxiliary contacts (i.e. three normally open and three normally closed). For other specifications, there are two sets of auxiliary contacts for a quantity of 400 or more, and one set for a quantity of 225 or less.
● The 320 specification in DZM1E-100 and 225 can provide two pairs of auxiliary contacts (i.e. two normally open and two normally closed), but this must be specified when ordering.
● When the internal accessories cannot be provided or meet the customer's usage needs, more auxiliary functions can also be provided through the intelligent controller. This series of intelligent controllers can provide the following functions: closing and opening auxiliary signals, shunt tripping functions, and various protection function fault signals (see Function Explanation 7).
